Agora's Fellows Program
Agora Partnerships’ Fellowship Program offers talented individuals the opportunity to step inside Agora Partnerships, an NGO on the cutting edge of economic development in the Central American region, a business and become an agent of change. As a part of the program, Fellows join an elite circle of Agora alumni who, as part of the Agora community, strive to be innovators on an international level. The Fellowship Program provides a platform for Fellows to enhance their skill sets through in-country assignments while also assisting Agora on an organizational level.
To be an Agora Fellow you make between a nine and twelve-month commitment to live in Managua, Nicaragua where Fellows become an integral part of both Agora’s projects and the businesses of our clients. Fellows work on varying development projects including, but not limited to:
• Supporting Small Businesses in Central America
• Fundraising Projects
• Strategic Planning
• Program Development
• Financial Planning
As a Fellow with Agora Partnerships, individuals will be exposed to a first-hand look at development work. From attending conferences, to working in the field with our entrepreneurs, the Agora Fellowship is a balanced program aimed at providing the Fellow with a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship in Latin America, and Agora's role in providing a vital support system. In addition, Fellows find a strong sense of community among Agora employees, both in and outside of the office. The Fellowship is enhanced by in-country extracurricular activities. At the end of the Fellowship, our Fellows leave Agora with a permanent commitment to our efforts and continue to support our mission in various capacities.
