Impact Investing in Action is a joint effort between Village Capital and Agora Partnerships – two global, non-profit organizations working to facilitate early-stage impact investing by selecting high-growth early-stage entrepreneurs for incubation and connecting them to investors. Impact Investing in Action is a global marketplace designed to showcase 25 exceptional entrepreneurs from Central America, Mexico and Atlanta, and match these world-changing small businesses with investment opportunities.
This invite-only gathering (max 100) connects those looking to advance the growing mission of early stage impact investing, and drives deals by connecting human potential with the capital needed to make an impact.
The hand-picked entrepreneurs from Agora’s Accelerator Program and Village Capital’s Atlanta cohort will pitch their ventures and investment needs to an audience from all sectors of the impact investing world, including representatives from investment funds, foundations and global development agencies. We have arranged ample time for follow up one-on-one meetings between entrepreneurs and investors.
By gathering the leading minds in this field, we also plan to catalyze action around co-investment opportunities and early stage impact investment strategies and to help build a more efficient, transparent, data-driven market to allow capital to flow where it can create the most impact.
